Laura taught a strength training class that helped me learn to really love going to the gym at a time when it felt daunting at the beginning of my wellness journey. The classes gave everyone the exact support they needed for where they were in their strength progression, and Laura's energy and non-judgmental approach made the classes fun and empowering. I started out with Laura's strength class and quickly hired her as my strength coach to work 1:1. Working with Laura, I went from lifting with bodyweight, dumbbells and bands to doing deadlifts and my first pullup! She always checked in to see how my body was feeling that day, and watched my movements and knew exactly how hard to push or back off. On hard days she kept me entertained and uplifted with a ton of funny stories 🙂 She was also great about regularly checking in on goals and making sure the plan fit. I whole-heartedly endorse Laura as a strength coach and hope you get the chance to work with her!

Love Laura, she is amazing! She mixes up every work and and when I am done I feel like I have worked my entire body. She is thoughtful, challenging, fun and passionate. I highly recommend her and will look her up when I am in her new hood!

Training with Laura has given me confidence and comfort lifting big weights and the results have been incredible. I was always scared to step into the free weight section of a gym. Laura eased those fears with her warm personality and encouragement.
I highly recommend her training to anyone who is looking to feel strong and look great.

I first met Laura in a small group training class she was teaching: Intro to Weightlifting. Of course I had seen her around the gym and of course I had heard that she competed in powerlifting and broken records, so I expected her to be really impatient with my beginner attempts just to squat with the bar on my back. I was SO WRONG! Laura is one of the most genuinely kind and encouraging coaches I have ever met. She absolutely loves to get women comfortable with first being in the weight room, and then teaching them all about form and function. Laura is not only extraordinarily knowledgeable about powerlifting, she makes it accessible to those of us menopausal people who want to get stronger and build muscle. After the class ended, I asked to become her client. I have never been happier or stronger. I never would push myself as safely and effectively as Laura does. Results matter and Laura has totally helped me achieve them. I would 100% recommend her as a coach/trainer.
